Usage Guidelines
Instructions
Select a tape width that allows for overhang on each side and apply to the top of a joist or beam using firm pressure (preferably with a hand roller) to ensure adequate adhesion. It’s best to apply this tape to clean, dry lumber.

What temperatures are rated for use?
PRO-Tac is rated for application temperatures from 20°F to 170°F and service temperatures from -70°F to 200°F. It’s best to apply this tape to clean, dry lumber.
What material is PRO-Tac tape?
PRO-Tac is a self-adhesive Butyl Tape with PET Liner.
What about double joists?
PRO-Tac is offered in five widths to accommodate a variety of applications. Use 1.625” tape for single joists, 3.25” tape for double beams, and for general flashing.
